Recently I have been meeting a number of AMAZING people, many of them bloggers, who are putting out some really special content on their sites.

One such blogger was Deeone Higgs from Kingskidd Chronicles.  He started his site earlier this year after his mom died of cancer.  From that tragedy, he was encouraged to return to his passion of writing.  He shares his discoveries, humor, and encouragement with the hope that he can help others through their challenges and journeys.

I’ve been inspired by his writing and was greatly honored last week when he awarded my work here with the Versatile Blogger award.  Some of you have also been awarded this honor so I’m glad to share this privilege with so many other great bloggers.

If you aren’t familiar with the Versatile Blogger award it is an honor shared with blogs you have recently found as noteworthy, remarkable, and worth visiting.

7 Things About Me

The first thing you are asked to do in acceptance of the Versatile Blogger award is to share 7 things about yourself.  Since another blogger has taken the time to share my site with his audience, the least I can do is tell the new visitors a little about myself.

So here it goes, here’s some things about me you probably didn’t know.

1.  I’m a two time cancer survivor. I was first diagnosed with Leukemia when I was 8 years old.  I was a poor little bald boy who couldn’t have looked sadder in their fourth grade class photo.  It was taken 3 seconds after an insensitive photographer told me I couldn’t wear my hat.  My teacher gave that guy an earful afterwards.  A few years later my cancer relapsed.  My only chance of beating it was a bonemarrow transplant.

My sweet little 7 year old sister Katie prayed faithfully every night that God would make her a match, while I stubbornly hoped I wouldn’t have to move to Tucson to go through the ordeal of more cancer treatment.  My sister’s prayers were heard and she ended up being my bone marrow donor almost 14 years ago.

That's me! Holding an autographed poster after meeting Spider-Man creator Stan Lee last May.

2.  I’m a nerd. I am that guy that actually walks into comic book stores, plays Starcraft with friends on Friday nights, and is fascinated by shows like The Guild, Lost, and Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Hero’s.

3.  I love Marketing. I graduated from W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU with my degree in Marketing.  Since then I’ve been involved in sales and marketing.  I got my start working with Microsoft, training retailers how to sell Vista and Office 2007.  (Must not have been that good :(  )  I also worked with Dell in college promoting laptops through gaming events, kiosk implementations, and tabling.  Marketing has been a part of me my whole career and I don’t see myself changing that any time soon.

4.  I’m married to an amazing woman. Callie is my wife (the other person in my profile photo).  She suffers from a very tough illness called P.O.T.S.  You know all those automatic things that happen in our bodies like blood pumping properly, your respiration, or the way you process food?  Well her autonomic nervous system doesn’t work.  So she has very little energy, gets sick constantly, and passes out when it gets particularly rough.  Still she troops through it working as a hair stylist and taking care of the house.

5.  I love movies. When the movie season is upon us Callie and I are almost at a movie every weekend.  We like dates, and movies are something we both enjoy.  If you want to know about a movie that just came out, chances are I can help you.

That's Bigby. He's named after the big bad wolf from the graphic novel Fables.

6.  We take care of a monster. Well not really, but the way Bigby our lab can swing his tail knocking off anything set on a counter makes him sure seem like one.  “Rawr… I’ll show you papers and cups what happens when you go up against the might of Bigby!”

7.  I’m a Mormon. Yes, I was once one of those guys on the bikes, knocking on your doors to share a message.    Yes, I have never drunk alcohol, coffee, or tea, smoked cigarettes, or  taken drugs.  No, I don’t have any other wives other than the one I just shared.

15 Other Versatile Bloggers that Will Help Make You Better.

Honestly, I think all of the blogs I reached out to and comment on are noteworthy and deserving of this award, otherwise I would be wasting my time being there.  However I am compelled to share 15 such sites that if you aren’t following already, you should give a visit in the next couple of weeks.

11.  Walter from Lionslinger

Walter has created a breathtaking database of articles on life’s lessons.  If you have a problem that could use some inspiration, I’d be hard pressed if you didn’t find some good advice on his site.

12.  Rob White from Mind Adventure

Rob is the humblest multi-millionaire I know.  His style of writing is very unique and makes you really think about the problems you face in life.  If you want someone who makes you think, you’ve found your guy.

13.  Chris Barba From Think Choose Live

Chris is another example of writing from the heart.  As he learns different things on his journey through life, he shares them in a truly unique way that makes you say, “Wow, I guess I never noticed that.”

14.  Lindsay From The Boomerang Kid

Lindsey has an interesting story.  After cubicles and conference rooms quickly convinced her she needed to be somewhere else, Lindsey moved back home where she is now running a successful blog helping other Gen Y’s “escape the doldrums of corporate life and find their dream job.”

15.  Steven Aitchison from Change Your Thoughts

Steven is the UK’s #1 personal development blogger, but that doesn’t mean Americans or any others shouldn’t pay his site a visit.  His posts always offer excellent advice on becoming a better person.

  1. Hi Bryce,
I loved hearing about your successful battle with cancer. Little wonder you are wise beyond your years! I’m enjoying getting to know you.

  2. Hi, Bryce!

Thanks for sharing your story and 15 bloggers you find versatile and insightful. I will be checking several out.

  3. Bryce,

Congrats on the Versatile Blogger Award! It says something about you when you get it…that people are paying attention and really like you.

But what is not to like? You are an inspiration family man, cancer survivor and just plain honest guy. That rocks! You deserve the award.

As for your list of bloggers. I didn’t even read some of the descriptions because their blog names alone would get me to visit them. I wish I had that ingenuity.

    Have a great day!

  4. P.S. Your dog is so cute!!! Was that a brief moment when he was exhausted and sat for a split second? LOL. I love labs! Have a Brittany myself. Not a lab but still great companion.

  5. Bryce,

Thanks so much for including me on this list. I’m honored to be among such great company. You’ve also shared some very kind words about my writing. Knowing that I’m making a difference in somebody’s life gives me the motivation and the courage too keep going.

  6. Bryce Christiansen

    Thanks Rob,

Congrats on receiving the award. I love the work you are doing and especially those awesome drawings you share.

I appreciate your comments and support.

  7. Bryce Christiansen

    Thanks Tisa,

They really are great bloggers. I know you will find some great writing and ideas.

  8. Bryce Christiansen

    Hi Allie,

Lovely comment. It makes my day reading thoughts like this.

I love all kinds of dogs. Brittany’s are very beautiful and SMART. What’s his/her name?

Allie you are just as deserving of the award, just happens I wrote this right before I was getting to know you :(

Hopefully I can make it up to you in the future.

  9. Bryce Christiansen

You seriously deserve it. You give so much of your time and energy to help us be better bloggers and find fulfillment in our lives.

I was in San Diego this summer thinking, “if only Srinivas was here, maybe I could learn to surf.” Instead I spent most of my time reading on a beach :(

    Maybe next time.

  10. Hey Bryce.

I loved reading about you in your bio, it’s amazing how little we know about each other yet have spoken on different occasions. It was a pleasure to read about your life.

I also wanted to thank you for the honour of being included in your list of versatile bloggers. It’s great to know that my writing is touching others.

    You’re a star Bryce.

  11. Bryce Christiansen

    Hi Steven,

It’s so good to have you here. You were one of the first blogs I started reading when I got into the personal and professional development field.

You have always been so honest and open with your readers, and that’s been something I’ve been trying to emulate from you.

You deserve the honor without a doubt.

    Hope to see you again,

  12. Thanks so much for including me, Bryce! I enjoyed learning a little bit more about you by reading this post.

  13. Bryce Christiansen

    You deserve it Lindsay,

You always put out top notch content and very useful articles. I hope I can send you some new readers today.

  14. I am so proud of you Love! This was a really fun post for me to read today. I love all your other stuff too but this was fun. You are such a wonderful writer and I am Proud to have you by my side. Love you!

  15. Bryce Christiansen

    Thanks Callie,

It’s about time you made your debut on the blog comments ;)

    I’m proud of you too.

  16. Thanks so much for including me Bryce and this made me lmao

“I’m a Mormon. Yes, I was once one of those guys on the bikes, knocking on your doors to share a message. Yes, I have never drunk alcohol, coffee, or tea, smoked cigarettes, or taken drugs. No, I don’t have any other wives other than the one I just shared.”

We have a Mormon family next door to us and they are really brilliant people. I have got to know the guy quite well as he is home in the day a lot and we often chat. I never thought to tell my wife they were Mormons until I turn to go back in after chatting on Saturday afternoon and see her wandering out with 2 cold beers. One for me and one for Chris. Luckily I intercepted her, but I did feel somewhat embarrassed.

    Thanks again man!

  17. Sorry bud, forgot to close the !

  18. Bryce Christiansen

HAHA. Don’t feel bad. We don’t expect everyone to know our rules and quirks, let alone whether we are Mormon or not.

What a perfect comment to show my readers how funny you are!

It’s always good to see you, I’ll be over on your blog shortly.

  19. Bryce Christiansen

    Fixed it.

  20. This is an amazing fun story. Thanks for sharing. And congrats on the award.

One or two of the other bloggers you mentioned I’m familiar with, but I just might have to check out the others!

  21. Bryce Christiansen

    Thanks Grady,

I hope it was fun. I really hate when people drag on about themselves, so I was hoping to at least make the torture as pleasing to everyone as I could.

Yes, definitely check out the other bloggers. You’ll meet some really kind and wonderful people.

  22. Congrats on the award first off, you deserve to be on the list. I’m happy to see that you are passing the torch along.

What I love about this award the most is learning more about you and who you would like for us to get to know as bloggers.

What a life you have lived and you are still so very young. I applaud your outlook and trudging through it all Bryce. It’s obvious why you are a survivor and I’m thrilled to hear about your lovely relationship with Callie. Bigby sounds like my sister’s dog, Logan. He’s an English Mastiff but a sweetheart.

Thanks for sharing this with us Bryce and again congratulations on receiving this honorable mention. It’s always nice to be recognized.

  23. Wow Bryce I am a little speechless. Thank you very much I do appreciate this Versatile Blogger Award. Guess that means now I better really get my stuff together and knock out some really good advice when it comes to relationships.

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I’ll share my story like you ask, but hey I can’t beat yours and I wouldn’t even try. It is amazing what pray can do. I ‘m not a Mormon, but hubby is. He is a really great guy, but maybe not so much a practicing Mormon..

Thank you again, you are very appreciated and I am proud to know you.
Blessing to you and your family,

  24. Bryce – I was so excited when I got you e-mail today! Thank you SO much for including me on this list of Versatile Bloggers!

You have a truly phenomenal back story. Clicking that “about me” button on all the blogs I read is something I commonly neglect, but I absolutely loved your “7 Things About Me”. I think the more personal we get the more interesting our content becomes. Thank you for sharing, especially overcoming cancer…twice.

And your acknowledgement today really had some ripple effects. I think a common theme of all bloggers is making a difference – so it’s things like this, letting you know that you’re on the right path, that really mean a lot!

  25. Afternoon Sir Bryce,

    Where do I even begin?

This was a most awesome post buddy, and not only because of the kind words you shared about myself. However, I do thank you very much for those kind sentiments. It’s very humbling to meet people and have the energy that you seek to send out acknowledged in the way the it was intended. It encourages and inspires me to keep on the path that I’m taking. So for that thank you.

You know, in this life we meet people that we just automatically have mad respect for; you just click with them. We don’t know why at first because the connections are so new, but usually when and if we choose to get to know them, we learn by and by why it is we hold these individuals in such high regards.

From day one, you have been one of those individuals that I couldn’t quite put my finger on what it was about you, but all I knew is that I had much respect for you, and enjoyed the person behind the words. It doesn’t happen often for me, but there are some that I can see their truest selves past what they write to me. That may not make much sense or my point isn’t as clear as I’d like for it to be, but I do have a point.

My point is this. Today, through your post I saw the trueness of you. I saw your honesty, strength, compassion, and genuine love for people. I saw a fighter; someone who has looked life in the eyes and said, “I will, I can, I must, and I shall”. That’s the kind of individual I am, and also the kind of individuals that I love to surround myself with.

I am ecstatic about being connected with you, and have never been more glad to have started blogging than I am right now. Had I never started, I would not have met any of the people that I have met, and your’s is a friendship I would not have wanted to miss out on.

Thank you bud for sharing such AWESOMENESS and for being you. I SEE you… and I’m so grateful to have made your acquaintance.

Congrats on this most deserving award bro. Today you showed me that I made the right choice.

All the best to you and yours.

  26. thanks man, i really enjoyed your posts, i appreciate.

  27. Congratulations Bryce! Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. I was surprised to learn about you being a double cancer survivor. Kudos for that! As you know my husband is a survivor and I don’t think either of us would like to revisit that again.

I am familiar with about half of your list so now I’ll have to check out the others.
Thanks for sharing the good stuff!

  28. Hi Bryce,

First, congratulations for your Versatile Blogger Award! Though I have very less communication with you and your blog, I love to read your postings as and when you have posted and can clearly understand your professional ethics and friendly closeness with fellow bloggers. You are simply awesome!

No doubt. You are well deserve for the award.! About your cancer was really shocking and same time you are rocking by honesty. Great Bryce. I believe, whatever I would like to praise, most of our fellow friends commented here and can clearly understand how much they love you. My many thanks for the list of personalities you have referred here and sure, I will visit and pass my comments as well with your ref.

    Thanks Again.

  29. Bryce,

It’s been such a pleasure getting to know you through the blogosphere. One of the real joys of the internet, I think, is getting to connect with people we might not otherwise have met. So I’m thankful, not just for being included in this award with some other amazing bloggers, but to include you in the circle of people I know with great ideas worth sharing. Keep shining!

  30. Bryce,

Her name is Maggy and she is ALWAYS at my side. I call her my “blogging buddy”. One day I need to write a post dedicated to her. Lol.

Thank you so much for the compliment….but someone already beat you, Lady Bren. LOL. She blogs at She honored me with it just a few weeks ago, right before I knew about you and the wonderful bloggers I know now in our Tribe. Yet I would have taken it again happily. :-) Thank you so much for thinking of me!

    Have a wonderful day!

  31. Hi Bryce,
I am finally out of my 9-5 and can reply. First, I want to congratulate you on receiving the Versatile Blogging Award and for mentioning me on your list. It is truly an honor. It really touched me how transparent your sharing was. You have overcome a tremendous amount of adversity. It has been such a pleasure getting to know you. We have a lab too and I can attest to the power of the mighty tail. Thanks again for sharing such raw detail. I look forward to reading more from you.

    BTW, I compete in marathons – 26.2 miles :-)

  32. Bryce Christiansen

    Hi Adrienne,

Thanks so much for those kind words.

We almost had an English Mastiff growing up, but my mom decided to get an English Setter instead. I like big dogs, but a Mastiff would definitely be a challenge.

    I appreciate all your comments,

  33. Bryce Christiansen

    I appreciate it Debbie,

You did all the work of getting the award, I’m just sharing it with you.

I didn’t know your husband was a Mormon. That’s neat practicing or not.

I’m looking forward to your post.

  34. Bryce Christiansen

You sure are a great influencer in the personal development field.

I really liked the post I read on your blog today. The jar really is a good symbol of our lives.

I’m glad the ripple effects are being felt. I hope my readers take the time to check out your site, because your writing is brilliant.

    Thanks for stopping by Chris,

  35. Bryce Christiansen

    Wow Deeone,

I’m speechless. I am so glad we connected. Seems like it definitely wasn’t coincidence.

I saw you send me a friend invite on Facebook, and I accepted so quickly I didn’t see the message that went with it. I’m wishing I could see it now, since you always have such great things to share.

I’m so glad I stopped by your site today to learn where you are taking it. I’m sure it will be even better.

You have lots of AWESOMENESS to spread so I’m looking forward to it.

I never would have had this opportunity if you hadn’t nominated me in the first place so I truly appreciate you giving me a chance.

  36. Bryce Christiansen

    Hi Barbara,

I’m so glad you came by. You are very kind.

Here’s to cancer survivors. Your husband must be a trooper as well. Cancer leaves some interesting effects on it’s victims even years later.

I know you will find some really interesting and great people on the list.

Thanks so much for the comment.

  37. Bryce Christiansen

    Thanks Manickam,

I’m glad we have recently been able to get to know eachother. I’ve already had a few others come by and say hi because of you so I greatly appreciate it.

I wish I could give all of our readers this award since I can’t think of one that doesn’t do some amazing work on their blogs.

I look forward to getting to know you better.

  38. Bryce Christiansen

    Thanks Jen,

Sorry for all the attention I’ve been showing you lately when I know you are in the middle of some amazing projects yourself.

So glad you could stop by. I really appreciate your comment.

    You are the best!

    Thanks again,

  39. Bryce Christiansen

    Ha that’s awesome Lisa.

I love labs, they are such loving companions, and Bigby can always bring a smile to my face.

You are definitely deserving of the award as well.

I will update the post to get the marathon and distance right. I knew I’d probably mess something up in a post like this.

    Have a good night,

  40. I’d like to think it’s for that reason Bryce, the whole “Pay It Forward” thing came about in the first place. If we all would pay just a little of what we had to offer forward; there would be more than enough to go around. Leading to even more people having a taste of it.

I was glad to see you over at the site man. You gave me a much needed break from the nerve wreckage of putting the new theme together on the new site. I made a little more progress today! I’d like to think it’s because the universe has seen the forward paying on my part, but more than likely it was the sweat and tears that it’s been paying the most attention too. :D That will not stop me from doing it though. ;)

Congrats again buddy on your award! You ROCKED it out; I was simply the vessel used to get it to you. And it was an honor to do so. ;)

  41. Bryce Christiansen

    Aww shucks.

I can’t wait to see it Deeone. It’s so good when those moments come to lift our spirits when we are having a tough time. I’m glad I could help in my little way.

Who knows if I would have been recognized if it wasn’t for you. I don’t have that many fans Deeone.

Good luck buddy, you’re the best.

  42. Bryce Christiansen

Awesome, see I knew I saw something in you.

I would very much like to read about Maggy and what she can teach me (or Bigby).

Looking forward to more of your writings.

  43. Hi Bryce,

Thank you very much for including me in your versatile blogger. I really appreciate this. :-)

  44. Hey Bryce,
I already thought that you were cool my friend. Liking what you like makes you cool.

Two time leukemia survivor and your wife also has some health issues. Man, you two must be tough as nails emotionally.

I think that you are doing well in the blogosphere and here is to a successful future.

  45. Wow what a cool post and really amazing people here too. Thanks for sharing those awesome resources. I will have to check them out.

  46. G’day Bryce,
I did get one a little ways back. Congratulations. Thank you for sharing this & your story.
    be good to yourself

  47. Having fans can consist of filling such big shoes Bryce. They pretty much control you. You have to always watch what you do, out of fear that one of your fans might misinterpret something that you did, but they took the wrong way. To me, that could get really old, very quick. Give me good-hearted,genuine people with realness, that I respect and that respect me in return, any day over fans. They won’t trade you in for newer and better friendships. Fans on the other hand… let’s just choose someone from the list of people that found out the hard way. :D

  48. Hey Bryce, Congrats on the Versatile Blogger Award. Quite a ride you have had so far in your life. Inspiring story.
Nice list of bloggers. Thanks for sharing.

  49. Hi Bryce,

    Congratulations on your new achievement!

Love the way you put across your list of bloggers, and shared about yourself with all of us! Such awards give us an awesome opportunity to connect with each other, and even get to know each other so much better!

Hope to meet up more often! And enjoy your well deserved award :)

  50. Dear Bryce,

I learn two more great sets of things today about you.
    1. Your inspiring story of cancer survival.
    2. A list if great bloggers that are simply fabulous.

Thank you for linking me with more great people. I am sure there is more to learn from them all.

One more thing, I have never being in such a great and encouraging community before. Sure beats the hell out of the real relationships. It is truly an online heaven.

  51. Bryce, I salute you for sharing some of your life with us from the tests to the everydayisms of your world. You know I love these posts as they truly shape up the humanity within us because, like you have shown here, that we all are somebody with feelings and trials, interests and interesting lives. I feel priviliged to have shared a few moments of who you are. You’re not only versatile you’re a virtuous soul. Peace my friend.

  52. Thanks so much for sharing! I’m truly inspired with your story of being a 2-time cancer survivor. Will be checking out the blogs that you have suggested.

  53. Hiya Bryce, Congrats on the Versatile Blogger Award. Wish you the very best in your life. I am inspired by you, its good to know so much about you. Its much easier to interact with someone when you know a little bit more about them.

its truly an honor for me to be mentioned among such top names. There are quite a few that I regularly read. I love Srinivas’s blog. He is truly rocking the school of life. Thanks again.

  54. What an amazing story you have, Bryce. It’s fantastic of you to share about you and your challenges and triumphs, especially with cancer. And of course the fact that you’re a nerd! I’ve never heard of P.O.T.S. before and it sounds positively horrendous. Your wife must be truly remarkable to be suffering as she is, yet managing to work and enjoy life despite her illness. I hope there is something that the medical community is doing for her to ease her pain. It’s a great photo of you two. And I love your dog! What a cutie!

I’m looking forward to visiting many of your blog sites mentioned and I will be sure to tell them you sent me! :)

    Well done, Versatile Blogger!

  55. Hi Bryce,
I’m encourage with your life story both of your wife. What happened to you I believe that this is not an accident. God has a better plan for your life, He wants to show you His amazing love. And He want to use you to encourage those who are losing hope because suffering illness.

  56. Your welcome. I know you put a ton of work into the writing you do. It was well deserved.

  57. Thanks Justin,

That means a lot coming from you. I look up to Callie, she still has to work at her illness, while I’m pretty close to normal now.

I hope I can offer the bloggersphere something unique and make difference.

You are doing an amazing job yourself. You were one of my role models for blogging.

    Thanks for your example,

  58. Hi Wilson,

Welcome to the blog and thanks very much for the kind comment. I really appreciate when new visitors leave a comment. I’m trying to learn more about each of my readers, and comments help a TON.

I’ll have to check out your article. I really like the topic. Probably going to tweet it too :)

  59. Thanks Ricardo,

I appreciate your comment and am enjoying being one of your Tribes mates.

You are a smart guy. I really like how you discuss technology in a way that makes it simple for the rest of us.

    See you again soon,

  60. Hi Harleena,

Thanks for stopping by. I read your blog after Deeone received his award from you and it was AMAZING.

You are a very gifted writer. I will definitely be stopping by more often.

  61. Hey thanks Jimmy,

That is probably the BIGGEST compliment I could ever receive. This community is incredibly kind, generous, thoughtful, and true to themselves.

It makes me happy to know others see that as well.

It’s people like you who comment and share their special and unique perspectives on the topics written here that make this community so awesome.

    Thanks for the kind words,

  62. Appreciate it John,

I love your style. Your comments are like reading poetry.

I agree, I’m glad I had the opportunity to talk about myself as a person. It’s hard to connect when you don’t know much about the person talking to you.

    Thanks for the comment John,

  63. Ah shucks Adeline,

Thanks for the kind words. I’ll have to check out your site as well.

So good to see a new face here. I hope we can have you back.

  64. Thanks for those kind words, though I have a lot to learn! Hope to see you around :)

  65. Thanks Eddie,

You’ve been someone I’ve really come to appreciate. You are an incredibly generous guy.

Looking forward to where you go in the future.

  66. You make me speechless Suerae,

I love all the photos you have taken of my home state AZ. Sometimes I get so used to desert it loses any beauty to me, but you have reawakened me.

Callie has some things that ease the pain, but it’s still tough. I watched some videos on Youtube of others with POTS to help me understand it. Those are some strong people. It mostly affects women which was also interesting.

Well enough rambling about me. I hope you have a good weekend. You are awesome.

  67. I’ve definitely seen it that way Elpidio. I see it as a way to help others see that cancer isn’t the end of your life. There are still some wonderful lessons to be learned and goals to accomplish.

I’m happy when I can touch other’s lives.

  68. Bryce Christiansen

    Thanks David,

I’m not surprised you received one yourself. You are top notch.

  69. Wow, Bryce. I enjoyed reading your story.

That’s crazy that you had cancer twice as a kid. I can’t imagine going through that.

My mom went through something similar to a bone marrow transplant a few years ago. She was in the hospital for a month while a pumped out all her blood (and did something with her bone marrow) and gave her new blood.

It was really bad for her, so I can’t imagine going through something like that at such a young age.

    You’re definitely a trooper.

    Take care,

  70. Bryce Christiansen

That sounds rough and very much like what I went through. I can definitely relate, not a fun thing to experience.

Sometimes I’m thankful it happened to me younger than older. I didn’t know what I was getting into then. I had 8 and 12 year old’s responsibilities so I could focus on fighting cancer instead of having work or college at the same time.

I appreciate your kind words very much Fred.

    Have a good weekend.

  71. You are too kind …….
    thank you kind Sir

  72. thanks for coming by the blog and leaving a comment, I’m kinda not doing a good job at creating a community on my blog, I don’t know why that is.

I hope we can learn a lot from each other, I already know you have great stuff to share from reading this post alone.

  73. Bryce Christiansen

    Hey Wilson,

I’m happy to show you exactly what I did to get a community started. Anyone can do it if I can. It’s just a matter of knowing the right people to talk to and get started with.

Shoot me an email with what you’re ideal audience is and I’ll see if I can help you. Let’s skype sometime and I’ll take you through how to get going.

  74. Thank you sir,

Welcome to the blog. I hope you come back.

  75. Dia

    Hi Bryce,

Going through cancer twice must have been very hard. And you are married, that is good that you found your soul mate. It is good to know more about you. I think one of the best benefits we gain as bloggers is to connect with others and build relationships. It makes us learn from each other’s experiences. Thanks for sharing Bryce

  76. Bryce, thanks for the awesome post and congrats on the award. I enjoyed learning more about you and I look forward to checking out the blogs you recommended. Your story is very touching, give your sister a big hug!

  77. Bryce: What a great post. I always love learning more about the person behind the blog. Your story is very inspiring and your sister is obviously a wonderful person just like you;) Loved the list also of the 15 bloggers. Some are new to me so thanks for pointing out their great work.

  78. Bryce Christiansen

    Thanks Dia,

I appreciate your support and couldn’t agree more about making relationships with others. We can do amazing things with the great connections we make through other bloggers. I have already found a few new friends that have been able to help me immensely as well as some opportunities where I could help as well.

  79. Bryce Christiansen

    Thanks Scott,

I will see my sister tonight and will have to let her know she’s become somewhat of a hero on my latest blog ;)

I loved your last post about the Naval Academy. A good friend of mine served in the Navy recently and your story reminded me of many of the lessons he learned as well. Glad to be a fellow Tribesmate of yours.

  80. Bryce Christiansen

    Hi Sibyl,

Great to have you on the blog. Thank you very much for the kind comment and for the nice words about my sister. I hope you feel like coming back in the future.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you better.

  81. Hi Bryce, Congratulations on your Versatile Blogger Award, Bryce! Well done in winning your award and in choosing a fantastic list of blogs to pass on the award to. Your strong character shows not only in the challenges you have overcome but in your selection of blogs.

Thank you so much for sharing, Bryce. You truly made a difference.

  82. Bryce, you inspire me with your strength as a cancer survivor and your love for your amazing wife. =) I am just in awe of your humility and warmth. They shines through in the seven things you share about yourself and how you thoroughly recognize each one of those 15 bloggers. I’ve only had the pleasure of meeting two of them and I can’t wait to reach out to the rest — any friend of yours is a friend of mine. =)

Congrats on the award! It’s truly an honor to be considered among the same circle of bloggers as you. Thanks so much for your friendship and example!

Sadly I didn’t know you at the time, otherwise you certainly would be added.
